One-Click Onboarding

Instead of manually building a schedule for every new hire, use Job Role templates to populate their entire weekly schedule in one click.

How It Works

  1. Create a Job Role with template time blocks (see “Creating Job Role Templates”)
  2. When a new team member joins, navigate to their profile or the Schedule
  3. Click “Apply Job Role”
  4. Select the appropriate role template
  5. BFF creates all the time blocks automatically

What Gets Created

When you apply a Job Role, BFF generates:

  • Time blocks for every day specified in the template
  • Task assignments for the tasks linked to the role
  • The schedule follows the template pattern exactly

Customizing After Application

The generated schedule is fully editable:

  • Move time blocks to different times
  • Add or remove blocks for specific days
  • Swap tasks if the person’s responsibilities differ slightly
  • Adjust durations based on the person’s speed

Multiple Roles

If someone fills multiple roles (e.g., part-time Support + part-time Admin), you can:

  1. Apply the first Job Role
  2. Apply the second Job Role
  3. BFF merges the schedules
  4. Resolve any conflicts manually
