One-Click Onboarding
Instead of manually building a schedule for every new hire, use Job Role templates to populate their entire weekly schedule in one click.
How It Works
- Create a Job Role with template time blocks (see “Creating Job Role Templates”)
- When a new team member joins, navigate to their profile or the Schedule
- Click “Apply Job Role”
- Select the appropriate role template
- BFF creates all the time blocks automatically
What Gets Created
When you apply a Job Role, BFF generates:
- Time blocks for every day specified in the template
- Task assignments for the tasks linked to the role
- The schedule follows the template pattern exactly
Customizing After Application
The generated schedule is fully editable:
- Move time blocks to different times
- Add or remove blocks for specific days
- Swap tasks if the person’s responsibilities differ slightly
- Adjust durations based on the person’s speed
Multiple Roles
If someone fills multiple roles (e.g., part-time Support + part-time Admin), you can:
- Apply the first Job Role
- Apply the second Job Role
- BFF merges the schedules
- Resolve any conflicts manually
