Notification Preferences

BFF lets you control which notifications you receive and how they’re delivered. Access preferences from your profile settings.

Accessing Notification Settings

  1. Click your profile avatar in the top bar
  2. Select Preferences
  3. Go to the Notifications section

Delivery Channels

Notification Categories

You can control notifications for each category:

  • Task Updates — assignments, completions, changes
  • Cascade Alerts — impact engine notifications
  • Time-Off — request approvals and coverage assignments
  • SOP/WI Changes — content module updates
  • Schedule Changes — time block modifications
  • Workflow Events — execution status and pending approvals

Best Practices

  • Keep cascade alerts enabled for both in-app and email — these are critical
  • Enable email for time-sensitive items (time-off approvals, workflow pending)
  • Disable email for low-priority notifications to reduce inbox clutter

Note: Some critical notifications (like cascade alerts marked as “critical severity”) cannot be fully silenced — they will always appear in-app to ensure operational safety.
