Notification Preferences
BFF lets you control which notifications you receive and how they’re delivered. Access preferences from your profile settings.
Accessing Notification Settings
- Click your profile avatar in the top bar
- Select Preferences
- Go to the Notifications section
Delivery Channels

| In-App | Notifications appear in the bell icon dropdown — always enabled |
| Notifications sent to your registered email via Resend |
Notification Categories
You can control notifications for each category:
- Task Updates — assignments, completions, changes
- Cascade Alerts — impact engine notifications
- Time-Off — request approvals and coverage assignments
- SOP/WI Changes — content module updates
- Schedule Changes — time block modifications
- Workflow Events — execution status and pending approvals
Best Practices
- Keep cascade alerts enabled for both in-app and email — these are critical
- Enable email for time-sensitive items (time-off approvals, workflow pending)
- Disable email for low-priority notifications to reduce inbox clutter
Note: Some critical notifications (like cascade alerts marked as “critical severity”) cannot be fully silenced — they will always appear in-app to ensure operational safety.
