The 30-Day Free Trial
Every new company starts with a 30-day free trial — no credit card required to begin. During the trial you have access to your plan’s features so your team can evaluate BFF with real work.
You can see how many trial days remain at any time under Settings → Billing. When the trial ends, choose a plan to keep going.
Features and Your Plan
Some features are enabled per plan tier. If you try to use a feature that isn’t included in your plan, BFF will tell you the feature “is not enabled for your plan” rather than failing silently.
To unlock a gated feature:
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Review the plan comparison
- Click Upgrade on the plan that includes the feature you need
Tip: Upgrades take effect immediately after checkout — there’s no waiting period.
Subscription Statuses
Your subscription is always in one of these states:
- Free Trial — You’re in your 30-day evaluation period
- Active — Your subscription is paid and in good standing
- Past Due — A payment failed; update your payment method to avoid interruption
- Canceled — The subscription has ended
Partner-Managed Companies
If your company was set up by a BFF partner (an agency or consultancy managing several companies), your plan tier may be managed by your partner rather than billed directly to you. In that case the plan controls under Settings → Billing are handled by your Partner Admin — contact them about plan changes.
